Melanie Brown and Giselle,9, Angel,6, Madison,2, and Phoenix,14, get their groove on in the September 2nd issue of People Magazine. Brown and her brood have a dance party nearly every night after the girls have had their dinner. “It’s called ‘getting the kids tired enough so they’ll want to get into bed,” Brown jokes.

Madison turned 2-years-old on September 1, 2013, and mom didn’t let the day go by without celebrating. Melanie Brown had everything from balloons that read, “Happy Birthday” on them to a princess party to ring in her youngest daughter’s birthday. Madison’s party was more along the lines of a tea, having beautiful decorations in a calm setting that any princess would enjoy. The 2-year-old lavished in her celebration but not before getting dad caught up in her balloons on the way to the party.
Mel B has characterized motherhood as being a life-changing experience that brings a sense of transparency to one’s life. “Your kids will tell you exactly what they think of you or if they’re upset,” said the singer to media. “It’s a big responsibility, but fantastic. It sort of makes you grow up and appreciate what you have and where you are in your life.”
Madison is Melanie and husband Stephen Belafonte’s first child together. Mel B has three kids-Phoenix, Angel, Madison- in all. Giselle is Stephen’s daughter from a previous relationship.
