May the force be with George and Mellody Lucas who welcomed a baby girl into the world on August 9, 2013 via surrogate. Little Everest Hobson Lucas was born at a healthy weight and height to two parents who couldn’t wait to see her for the first time.
Mellody and George confirmed the good news with CBS first, which was a hop, skip, jump, and phone call away for Mellody who serves as financial contributor to the media source. George is best known as the filmmaker for Star Wars. He and his bride wed earlier this year at Skywalker Ranch in California with Steven Spielberg and other Hollywood greats in attendance at the ceremony.
Everest is George and Mellody’s first child together. Mr. Lucas also has three children-Amanda, Katie, and Jett-whom he adopted prior to marrying Mellody earlier this year.
