Blue has inspired her dad so much that he made a new song about her. Jay-Z recently told BBC Radio that the song, ‘Jay-Z Blue’ is all about the energy and focus his daughter gave him when she was born.
“I’m a writer. So, literally, I’m saying the birth of my child gave me this new energy and focus,” the rapper says of the song.
He then goes on to explain further, “So, I’m using a metaphor [in ‘Jay-Z Blue’] to say that her energy and presence gave me the focus again to remind you exactly who I am.”
Jay told BBC that Blue is thoughtful and insightful like him. He also said that he is planning to go on tour just as soon as he aligns his work schedule with family responsibilities.
Blue was born on January 7, 2012. She is Jay-Z and Beyonce’s first child together.
