Deion Sanders is giving back in a big way by hosting this years Prime Time Black & Red Gala Celebration in Atlanta, Georgia. Sanders, who became legendary playing for the Dallas ‘Cowboys,’ is taking it back to his roots in hosting the event in Georgia instead of Texas. “I am coming back to where my career began to celebrate with a city that has given so much to me, my career and my family,” says Sanders to the press.
The NFL star hopes to raise awareness about and funds for his Prime Time Association, which seeks to train kids to become the world’s next great leaders. “Our goal is to raise the help we need to continue providing TRUTH kids from Dallas, Atlanta, Memphis, and Little Rock the support important to their development through sports, education and mentoring. Our weekend continues to grow and our vision is brought to life by Atlanta’s very talented Tee Foxx and Foxx Entertainment Group and Celebrity Publicist Ayana Young. It grows bigger and bigger every year,” explains the star.
The 2013 Prime Time Black & Red Gala Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, and will feature big celebrities like Ludacris, Steve Harvey, and Rickey Smiley. Athletic greats such as Charles Barkley and Natasha Hastings are also expected to attend the event.
