Connie Britton shows little fear on the set of ‘Nashville,’ and isn’t one to back down from a challenge. Motherhood, however, has got the lead actress on pins and needles as she tells Us Weekly that she is a bit nervous to be raising her son, Eyob, in the absence of a father figure.
“Until I find that perfect man in my life, there’s going to be all these ‘man things’ that I’m not going to have any idea how to impart to him. That part is scary,” says the actress who joined the motherhood circle in 2011.
“He’s so young yet none of this feels like a reality to me, but I have a feeling that hav[ing] a son, its just going to be tricky in a different way. I do aspire to be the ‘cool mom.’ I’m sure I’ll probably end up just being embarrassing,” explains the star.
Britton adopted Eyob, a.k.a. Yoby, out of Ethiopia when he was just a few months old. He is the star’s first child.
