“[The rumors were] probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard and the fact that people were running with that and had follow-up stories,” said Jay. “At first, I thought it was one of those get press things, let’s run with it for press. Then slowly, I was like, ‘Oh, y’all believe this?’ That’s really messed up because the time when you’re supposed to be most joyous to have to deal with whether you say you care about it or not it’s annoying and you shouldn’t have to deal with that as a human being but that’s the position that we’re in.”

Despite being under the critical eye of the public at all times, Jay-Z told ‘The Breakfast Club’ that he still strives to be a great dad to Blue. “I’m learning,” explained the artist. “It’s a new thing for me. I guess it changed me in a way that I know what’s important. I had a pretty good sense of that, it just re-informed me in the sense that I knew.”

Jay hopes to have many more kids with his wife in the future telling media, “Absolutely, God willing…[Let’s] get this little basketball team going. … It’s all part of the elaborate plan.” Blue is Jay-Z and Beyonce’s first child together.
