Dwyane Wade sees remnants of himself in his eldest son’s game. The Miami ‘Heat’ player recently told USA Today that Zaire gets part of his B-ball skills from him, and picks up the other part from YouTube.
“My son is big on watching YouTube,” said Wade. “He’ll watch guys like Chris Paul — those quicker, smaller guys — and see some of the things they do and try to mimic it. He’s got a little bit of me in him [too],” the NBA star explained. “He’ll steal some of my moves every now and again.”
It was just a few weeks ago that YouTube fans got to see Zaire in action as he shot with skill while on the court at the John Lucas Future of the Game Camp in Las Vegas. Zaire showed great sportsmanship and control while playing, passing the ball whenever possible and seizing every opportunity to personally drop the ball in the hoop.
Dwyane was one of several key players to lead the Miami ‘Heat’ to victory this year during the NBA championship rounds. Zaire and Zion are his kids with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches.
