All members of the Barnes family smile wide as they capture the attention of Ebony creatives. Matt, Gloria, Isaiah, and Carter are the epitome of what it means to be American, and show nothing but patriotism in their pic that will be featured in the upcoming issue of the magazine.
As an NBA sensation with African American and Italian ancestry, Matt represents diversity at its finest. His wife, Gloria, is also one who comes from a diverse cultural background, having Mexican and African American roots. Isaiah and Carter, both 4-years-old, have a lot of family history to learn about, and will do so under the loving care of mom and dad.
One thing that the twins will definitely learn is how to be good hosts as Gloria told Ebony that the family loves entertaining company. “I come from a big family, so I’m used to having people here all the time,” said the NBA star’s wife. “I don’t know how to do small. I’m used to doing big.”
