Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are having a girl this Summer. The reality star revealed the sex of her child on Sunday’s (June 2) premiere of her show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “I’m so excited we’re having a girl,” said the star on the show. “Who doesn’t want a girl? I think they are the best. I know that’s really what Kanye has always wanted — he wanted a little girl.”
E! previously told the public that Kim and Kanye would reveal the baby’s sex on the show via press release stating, “The dynamic blended family rallies around expectant mother Kim to finally learn the gender of their newest member, underscoring the love, resilience and devotion at their core. Kris, Bruce, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Scott, Rob, Kendall and Kylie are the heart of this feisty, yet loving, family that doesn’t always agree, yet never fails to find their way back to each other.”
Many media sources assumed that Kim was expecting a girl after the star’s sisters sent out baby shower invitations that featured a twirling ballerina at its center. The star and her family spent lots of time with family and friends at a dainty celebration in Beverly Hills this past weekend.
Kim and Kanye are expecting their first child to arrive in July.
