Mike Tyson’s one man show, also referred to as ‘The Undisputed Truth’ tour, is steadily coming to a close and the former boxer has a lot to say. Tyson recently shared his heart with Justin Tedaldi of Examiner.com, giving the undisputed truth about his goals as a father and public figure.
About ‘The Undisputed Truth’ and his experience thus far with the show.
“So far it’s just been a national tour. We have plans to take it internationally at some point. The show has evolved since Broadway. As an entertainer, I’m much more comfortable and it transcends on stage. Plus, through trial and error, we cut some portions of the show down and added some other funny tidbits to make the storyline flow better.”
On ‘Mike Cares.’
“My charity raises funds for other charities that share in our mission of helping to give children a fighting chance at a better life. We have raised money for two charities in fundraising goals. It’s my obligation to do this. I have been blessed with a life that is unreal and my responsibility now is to give back.”that tend to homeless children and give out school supplies. What he hopes to accomplish as a father.
“I want [my kids] to be happy and to understand happiness is an internal struggle—it has nothing to do with material possessions. No one can make you happy but yourself. Happiness is a choice. I have learned that lesson later in life. However, I would like my children to understand this earlier than I did. I could save them a lot of misery.”
A book in the making?
“I have been working on my memoir. It is supposed to be released before the end of the year.”
