Laila Ali holds her Curtis Jr. and Sydney close as she celebrates her daughter’s second birthday. Sydney turned 2-years-old yesterday (April 4), and Ali was sure to share the great news with Facebook. “My little munchkin Sydney turned two today,” wrote the former athlete.
Laila has partnered with the Kids’ Healthy Mouths campaign to spread the word about the importance of good oral hygiene to children and parents everywhere. “As a mother, I know what it’s like to try to wrangle your kids into brushing their teeth,” says the boxing legend. “But through my involvement with the Kids’ Healthy Mouths campaign, I have also been reminded how important it is. I am looking forward to spreading the message that brushing for 2 minutes twice a day is essential for good oral health and that it can actually be fun and easy with the videos and tools available online.”
Ali will serve as as spokesperson for the Kids’ Healthy Mouths campaign. She and husband Curtis Conway Sr. parent five kids in all.
