Halle Berry is adamant about protecting Nahla from the flashing lights of the paps. The actress recently got into altercation with a photographer who got too close to her daughter while heading home from vacation in Hawaii.
Halle, Nahla, and Olivier were coming down the escalator at LAX when the paps began to swarm and snap. The actress remained calm as the escalator descended and even kept her cool a bit after reaching the ground floor. It was not until one paparazzo decided to zone in on Berry and Nahla that the actress took offense and said, “Get away there’s a child … what the f**k is wrong with you people?”
Berry has been feverishly working to get laws passed that restrict the paps access to celebrity children. The actress is already rumored to have sought the help of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck in rallying Hollywood for the cause.
Although her efforts are noble, one has to wonder if paparazzi swarms are a part of the territory. If an actor or actress is an A-list star, shouldn’t he or she be expected to be photographed regardless of who he or she is with? Should the paparazzi be hammered for giving celebs the attention they desperately seek? Or, are bright lights and cameras on kids too much?
What do you think? Should there be a ban in place that prohibits paparazzi from capturing kids of celebrity parents?
