Don’t let the cute face fool you. Julez Smith may well be on his way to become the world’s next great rapper. The 8-year-old son of Solange Knowles recently penned a few lyrics and gave it to mom as a keepsake:
“You don’t know how to rap/You’re so fat, like a rat in a mousetrap,” wrote Julez. The rapper-in-training continued, “You got a pen?/No? I didn’t think so/I’ll get you one if you know how to flow, yo/You got a pocket? I didn’t think so/Because you’re like an armadillo in the road, bro/Have you seen the movie hunger games?”
Judging from the lyrics above, Mr. Smith just may be the next rapping sensation like his uncle Jay-Z. But not so fast! Mom Solange is “terrified” that her son wants to enter the family business, but she still encourages him to follow his dreams.
Julez is Solange and ex-husband Daniel Smith’s only child together.
