The Obamas get a bit of family time in while walking from Marine One to the White House. The President and First Lady hold their daughters close as they stroll across the lawn to their home. Malia seems to be having an intriguing conversation with dad while Sasha takes in mom’s wisdom.
President Obama recently revealed his emotional side when talking about the concept of his daughters maturing into young adults. “There’s something about your daughters that just breaks your heart. It’s just watching them grow up. When I think about the fact that Malia will be out of the house in four years it chokes me up. The finite amount of time you have with your children, and the joy they bring on a minute-to-minute, day-by-day basis — the idea that that’s not there all the time is something that can hit me hard sometimes,” said the President
The Obamas recently allowed Malia to take her first step into young adulthood via cell phone ownership. Sasha is slated to experience independence through technology in the coming years.
