LIFESTYLE: CELEBRITIES AND THEIR KIDS LOVE ST. BARTS

Want to vacation like the stars? Try Saint Barthelemy, better known as St. Barts, this year.

Located in the French West Indies, St. Barts is the go-to place for many celebrities. Sean Combs, Russell Simmons, and Macy Gray all take their families to the Caribbean island on a regular basis. Russell Simmons and ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons even married on the island 14 years ago, and make it a practice of spending the holidays at St. Barts with their kids every year.

So what’s makes the Caribbean island so special? Well, St. Barts is home to a number of luxury villas where you can bask in relaxation and exotic living. Similar to Malibu beach homes, villas offer exquisite interior design and exterior views that are just stunning. Many villas are rented by their owners and have pools inside the dwelling place for added extravagance.

Another thing that makes St. Barts so lovable is its beautiful scenery and sereneness. Many visitors get lost in time while running along the richly blue water and basking in the light beige sand. Guests especially like the idea of walking out on their villa patio and hearing nothing but silence.

Although serene and exotic, St. Barts is not for the frugal heart. A one bedroom villa costs around $4,000 a week, and 5-bedroom homes cost a lot more. If you’re looking for a nice vacation at a discounted price, don’t look here. If, however, you are hoping to splurge a bit and enjoy life like the stars, consider booking a trip or two to St. Barts.
