Newborn baby Aden has captured the hearts of his mom, dad, and Cree. Proud auntie Tia Mowry-Hardrict recently told OK! magazine that her 1-year-old son is captivated by his new cousin.
“He loves him. The first time he saw him, he let out a gasp. He went ‘uhhh!’ I thought that was so freaking adorable. And then I show him pictures of his little cousin, and he’ll just look at it. I’ll take the phone away, and he doesn’t want me to take the phone away. He’s mesmerized by Aden,” said Tia.
Mowry-Hardrict and twin sister Tamera have high hopes of Cree and Aden being the best of friends and then turning on them. “We think that they’re going to be best friends, and they’re going to turn on us. They’re going to be crazy! [Laughs].”
Tamera gave birth to baby Aden last month on November 12, 2012 after several weeks of waiting in anticipation, growing weary, and waiting some more. “I seriously feel like I have been pregnant forever. Almost 10 months to be exact! Thirty-nine weeks in and no baby yet. ‘This has now become a waiting game,’ my OB told me. If I have yet to learn patience, my son is in the process of teaching me now,” the actress said at the time.
Now with her bundle of joy here to hold, Tamera seeks counsel from her twin sister who’s already gone through the excitement and hiccups associated with being a first time mom. Tia’s advice: “Sleep when the baby sleeps. [My sister and I] want to make sure everything is tidied up around the house and in the kitchen and with the clothes. I’m like ‘Tamera, you just have to let them pile up a little bit, and sleep when your baby sleeps, because if you don’t, you will be a walking zombie.'”
Aden is Tamera and husband Adam Housley’s first child together.
