THE OBAMAS HAVE A CHRISTMAS CONCERT IN WASHINGTON

Days after lighting the national Christmas tree, the Obamas lavished in the season of giving with an amazing concert. President and First Lady Obama along with daughters Sasha,11, and Malia,14, held this year’s Christmas concert, which featured South Korean rapper PSY, at the National Building Museum in D.C. over the weekend. Famous comedian Conan O’Brien hosted the even, which also rendered selections from Diana Ross and Demi Lovato. The Obama family looked stylish as ever with Sasha and Michelle both sporting the Salmon color in their wear.

President Obama showed a more comedic side in his remarks at the concert telling guests that the celebration was “a chance to get in the Christmas spirit, spread some joy and sing along with artists who have much better voices than we do.” The President also commented on the true spirit of Christmas, deeming it a time of reflection on the many blessings received throughout the year. “Those blessings aren’t just meant to be enjoyed, they’re meant to be used and shared with those who have less,” said the President.

The 31st annual Christmas concert in D.C. will air on December 21, 2012 via TNT’s network.
