DO-GOODERS: TYSON FAMILY GIVES KIDS A FIGHTING CHANCE

Mike Tyson and his family have children of broken homes on their radar. They are currently making plans to launch their new foundation called ‘Mike Tyson Cares’ on Friday, December 7, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Birthed out of Mike’s love for children, ‘Mike Tyson Cares’ aims to give kids of troubled homes a leg up in life by providing food, shelter, health care, and other necessities. The foundation will even offer job placement services and mentoring to youth who need help with the transition into adulthood. The Tyson family’s charity will benefit several local organizations, including Awakenings Las Vegas and Shade Tree, whose mission is also to “give kids a fighting chance.”
