Paris Jackson,14, is still coming to grips with the loss of her father, the late Michael Jackson. She recently told Oprah Winfrey that dealing with the loss “never gets easier,” in an exclusive interview for Winfrey’s OWN network.
Paris landed a role in Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys last year, and will be featured as the movie’s central character when it debuts next year. When asked about the source of her passion for acting, Paris said, “When I was really little. My dad was in the movie ‘Moonwalker’ and I knew he could sing really well but I didn’t know he could act. I saw that and I said, wow, I want to be just like him.”
Contrary to some children who forget their parents’ advice, Paris remembers all of her father’s life lessons. “He [Michael Jackson] said, ‘If I die tomorrow, always remember what I told you. I took his advice and I remembered everything he told me,” Jackson said.
Viewers can enjoy the entire conversation between Paris and Oprah on Sunday, June 10, 2012 via OWN. Rapper 50 Cent will also be on the show. Check out a clip from the episode here!
