Scandal star Columbus Short is an eco-friendly father and actor and who recently revealed his love for environmentally safe products. “I use a lot of hemp products — lotion and shampoo and detergents — and biodegradable plates and cups. [My family and I are] trying to do as much as we can. We need everybody doing it,” Short said in an interview with MNN.
In trying to do as much as they can, Columbus and his wife Tanee have enrolled their 7-year-old son in an eco-conscious school that teaches meaningful lessons about Earth. Columbus says that their young lad has plans to “change the world” one day.
As for his role as Harrison Wright on the ABC series Scandal, Short says that “this is the best thing that’s happened to me in my career….. It’s such an insider show in a way and we can bring those stories to life.”
The Shorts are also proud parents of a baby girl.
