Monica Brown and sons Romelo,4, and Rodney,6, strike a pose for the camera. The singer is preparing for the release of her much anticipated album New Life.
Brown recently served as panel member for the General Mills’ Box Tops for Education Town Hall Meeting at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Steve Harvey gladly co-hosted the event and encouraged parents to be participants in their children’s education. Harvey states, “We talk about what the kids are not. But why not talk about what they are and what they can be. You can’t send your ignorant child to school and expect them to send back a genius.”
New Life will be available for purchase in music stores later this year. iTunes users, however, will receive a free download of the hit single “It All Belongs to Me” when they pre-order Brown’s album through her website.
