Jaleel White is the star from Family Matters who made everyone laugh. Named “Steve Urkel” on the show, White was in love with Laura who wouldn’t give him the time of day. All grown up and a father of a two-year-old daughter , the actor recently sat down with Access Hollywood to discuss parenthood and his relationship with Kellie Shanygne Williams (Laura).

“It was very brother-sisterly. She’s married now and we both have children. She moved back to Maryland and I think that was a good move for her. She’s readapted to real life and motherhood. Kellie’s wonderful – she’s great. I always thought she was an incredibly underrated actress.”
How Jaleel explains his career to his 2-year-old daughter.
“She’s old enough to understand that Daddy goes to work, she is old enough to understand that Daddy’s work puts him on the TV. She will come hit me over the head with the ‘Judy Moody’ DVD and say, ‘Put Daddy in!’ and I think that’s really awesome.”

“I’m probably going to keep her in [my] trailer. I don’t really want to put her out there like that — not right now at least. I’m going to play it by ear.”
