Actor Terrence Howard poses with his two daughters and son at the Red Tails premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater on January 10, 2012 in New York City. Aubrey, Heaven, and Hunter are children from Howard’s marriage to Lori McCommas. Howard costars in the film with actor Cuba Gooding Jr.
The movie centers around the Tuskegee Airmen and their heroism during World War II. In exhibiting such heroism, the Tuskegee Airmen showed the country that race or ethnicity has nothing to do with courage. The film was essentially created to honor the Tuskegee men for their efforts.
Red Tails is one of few movies to be privately screened by a United States president before being released to citizens for viewing. The general public will get to see all of the action and drama on Friday, January 20, 2012.
