Issa Thompson,17,one of the youngest rappers signed to Jive Records, is set to debut his newest mixtape “King Issa” on Friday, December 23, 2011. Among the most popular songs on the project are “Tag and I Told Her”. Jacquees and Travis Porter have teamed up with Thompson to make the project a success.
Issa previously released the mixtape “Back To the Future” that sent numerous fans into a frenzy. The young artist recently told Blackcelebkids.com, “My number one influence will definitely have to be my father as well as my grandfather. My dad is a rapper and he is 100% the reason why i’m rapping today. He brought the whole music thing to my life. He taught me how to rap.” The rapper also tweeted, “its harder to makes raps without cussing. its easy to cuss but u know ur talented when u dont have to cuss and still make great music.”
Issa has already released portions of his mixtape to fans with iPhones. The rapper keeps his Facebook and Twitter followers updated on his projects.
