Angelina Jolie recently discussed her career, motherhood, and influential persons with 60 Minutes. As the interview revealed, Jolie prefers motherhood over entertainment. When asked about preferences, Jolie told the reporter that her comfort zone is “when I’m at home with the kids.”
Although a happy mother of six, Angelina admitted that she will never be as good as her mother, Marcheline Bertrand. Jolie commented, “My mother was a full-time mother. She didn’t have much of her own career, her own life, her own experiences, her own–you know, everything was for her children. I will never be as good a mother as she was. I will try my best, but I don’t think I ever will be. She was the most generous loving woman. She’s better than me.”
Jolie is currently director of In the Land of Blood and Honey; a new film set to debut soon. The movie is centrally a re-enactment of the wars and cultural cleansing that took place in Bosnia in the early 1990s.
