NBA player Chris Paul and his son Chris Paul II watched the Winston-Salem State Homecoming game against Johnson C. Smith University  on Saturday October 1, 2011.

Also this past weekend, Chris hosted his first charity pickup game at the University. The game featured other players, including Miami Heat’s LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony, and Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant.

“I hope the fans are enjoying this, but I guarantee nobody is enjoying it more than us,’’ Paul said. “These guys flew in here on their own time. People say this and that about NBA players and professional athletes, but these guys are doing this out of the goodness of their heart.’’

“It felt good to see all of them play tonight,’’ said Paul’s father, Charles, who presented Winston-Salem State with a $25,000 check for scholarships at halftime. “I just hope the lockout can get resolved and both parties can just get past the money.’’

Website: The game benefited the University as well as the CP3 Foundation.

I say to you, I certainly get irked at the same time as people consider concerns that they just do not know about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and outlined out the whole thing with no need side effect , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks|
