El DeBarge and daughter Bobbie were in attendance for the BET Hip Hop Awards 2011 held on October 1, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The singer, who is the father of 12 children with five different women (three of whom he married), recently lost his youngest child, a three-year-old daughter, to ‘the system’.
“I have one child that I lost to the system when I was on drugs”, he admitted to Jet magazine last year. “I don’t know where she is,” he lamented, adding that he has been given a second chance to be a more responsible dad to his remaining kids.
“God gave me a second chance. I am so very glad with what is going on with my career, but I want to be a success in my relationship with my children.”
