Eden Sanaa Duncan-Smith is an eleven-year-old Broadway star, but that’s not all. This young starlet is a singer, actress, poet, dancer, and philanthropist(her non-profit organization is called The Angel In The S.K.Y.E Network).
Last year, Eden made her Broadway debut as character Raynell Maxon in the 2010 revival of August Wilson’s Fences featuring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis; she was nominated for Best Performance in Live Theater at the 32nd Annual Young Artist Award. She just completed her run as young Nala in Disney’s Broadway production of Lion King.
In addition to acting, Eden is a trained dancer and has been asked to be a featured dancer for many professional dance companies and productions. Presently, Eden is a dance major and honor roll student at the Mark Twain School for The Gifted and Talented. Eden wants to either be ” a Supreme Court Justice, Chemist, Actor or Princess when she grows up.”
