Now that she is a mother of two-Leila Rose Robb(L) and Molly Blue Robb(R)- model Veronica Webb can now appreciate all that her own mother did for her. The following excerpt is a Mother’s day tribute that Veronica wrote for her mother, who is deceased.
“Every time I asked you about major choices, you would first say, “Make sure you’re happy.” When I asked, “How do I make sure?” you said, “You have to be doing what you’re doing to satisfy you and you alone.” I can’t believe how long it took me to see you for who you really were. Maybe it took making my own living and raising my own children to make independent to stand back and just appreciate you. In the five years since you’ve passed on your presence becomes more vibrant and alive as I strive to be my best in my every day life. Your words, you kindness and your love guide me always and will live forever in my heart and in my mind. My greatest wish this mother’s day is that your grace will always be felt through my words and deeds and those of your grandchildren.
