Actress Jasmine Guy and daughter Imani(R),13,were among several celebrities and their kids to attend a screening for Disney’s original movie Let It Shine this past weekend.
Set in Atlanta, Georgia, Let It Shine is the story of teenage boy Cyrus DeBarge who reunites with childhood friend Roxanne “Roxie” Andrews for a singing competition. Cyrus must overcome feelings of inferiority and negative commentators to prove himself an accomplished artist worthy of Roxanne’s love. Tyler James Williams stars as Cyrus, and Coco Jones serves as Roxie throughout the movie.
