Former X Factor contestant Rachel Crow is scheduled to perform at the “Believe In Girls” (B.I.G.) Celebration at Liberty State Park in New Jersey on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Tickets for the event went on sale this past weekend.
Crow, along with the Girl Scout Councils of New Jersey, will focus on empowering girls to believe in and celebrate themselves. As Girl Scouts CEO Mary Connell explains, “The name of this event perfectly describes what this day is all about, and that’s believing in girls and doing it in a big way. With so many activities and the exciting entertainment program featuring a main stage performance by singer-song writer Sara Bareilles, we know that every girl will remember this experience for her lifetime.”
In an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life Rachel said that being eliminated from X Factor was one of the greatest moments in her career. She states, “The best moment was when I got eliminated because it opened so many doors for me, and it helped me go as far as I could.” Crow made several public appearances and conducted numerous interviews after exiting the singing competition.
