ZAZIE BEETZ AND HUSBAND DAVID RYSDAHL ARE EXPECTING THEIR FIRST BABY

Zazie Beetz and her husband, David Rysdahl, have a baby on the way!

The Atlanta actress, 35, debuted her baby bump at the New York premiere of Nocturne on Tuesday, October 20, wearing a striped top and matching skirt from Maximilian Raynor’s spring 2027 collection.

The mom-to-be was joined by Rysdahl, 39, who cradled his wife’s belly while they posed on the carpet.

Beetz opened up about her hopes of becoming a mother in a 2022 interview with Gossamer magazine.

“Since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a mother, and hopefully I have the opportunity to do that in my life,” she said. “I’ve just always felt in my bones that it was something I was meant to be.”

“I was always sort of baby crazy and loved children, and it turned into this obsession with birth, and the transition of identity for a mother, or a person giving birth,” she continued.

She even considered a career as a midwife.

“I’ve actually been wanting to take a doula program. I would love to learn midwifery. It’s weird to say this, but I’ve thought that if acting doesn’t work out, midwifery would be my plan B,” she added.

Beetz and Rysdahl met at an acting workshop and began dating in 2014. They married in September 2023 at Salveymühle by Zaza in Uckermark, Germany, the actress’s birth country.
