Keshia Chanté is pregnant!
The singer and former 106 & Park host announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday, Oct. 6, with photos showing off her growing baby bump.
“Thank you God. To my sweet baby, I am sooo in love. I can’t wait to meet you! I am grateful and honored you chose me to be your mommy,” Chanté wrote.
The 38-year-old is already thinking about the memories she wants to make with her little one.
“I’ve spent every day daydreaming about you and all the fun adventures I want to take you on. I’m so excited to make holidays special, create beautiful memories and experience life through your eyes.”

While Chanté confirmed that her baby’s father is very much in the picture, she did not reveal his identity.
“Mommy & Daddy are so excited to welcome you into the world. Oh, and we’ve already got you booked & busy. Dada’s got your studio locked and we expect your album to drop summer 2027.”
Her mention of “Daddy” and a studio quickly had some fans wondering if Drake could be the father.
“Congratulations to you and Drake,” one person wrote in the comments. The message had already received more than 400 likes within hours of Chanté’s announcement.

The speculation is likely tied to Chanté’s history with the Toronto rapper. The two dated as teenagers, a relationship Drake publicly acknowledged during his All Canadian North Stars concert in Toronto in July 2022.
“This is my first girlfriend I ever had in my life,” he told the crowd. “A real legend, someone I love with all of my heart.”
In an interview with ET Canada after the show, Chanté called Drake’s introduction “the most meaningful, memorable, sweetest introduction I’ve ever been given in my entire career” and described the night as “a complete full circle moment” because the two had dreamed about moments like that when they were younger.
Despite their history and the speculation in Chanté’s comments, she has not identified the father of her baby, and there is currently no confirmation that Drake is the dad.
