The 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Ye had her own pop-up booth at the festival’s 10th anniversary event, where fans could pick up exclusive merchandise, check out unreleased product samples, and even grab some ice cream.

This was not North’s first time collaborating with Complex. She partnered with the brand back in May for a two-day activation at its Fairfax store to celebrate her debut EP, N0rth4evr. Ye made a surprise appearance on day one to sign merch and take photos with fans, and Kim stopped by the next day to show support.

Earlier in May, North joined rapper Molly Santana on stage at Rolling Loud in Orlando in May to perform an unreleased song. A month later, she gave her first solo festival performance at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Chicago.

The teen recently sat down for an interview with Dazed magazine and made it clear that she is not waiting until she gets older to pursue music.

When asked about the worst advice she ever received, she said, “To start my career later. It’s like, nah, this is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life.”

Kim Kardashian admitted to The Sunday Times Style in a new interview that she sometimes has to keep North’s ambitions in check.

“North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back. All she wants to do is forward-facing projects,” Kim said. “It’s like us really kind of trying to savour those moments and not doing everything that comes her way, so we can really make sure that we manage it the right way.”

Kim added that she and Ye are on the same page about North’s music career.

“And with her, since it’s more music-related, that is something that her dad and I have better communication about,” Kim said. “We make sure that we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve.”

ComplexCon wraps up on Sunday, Oct. 4. The two-day event brought over 300 brands to LA, along with live music, product drops, art installations, food, and panel discussions.
