Rocki Irish Mayers is officially one!
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky celebrated their daughter’s first birthday on Sept. 13 with a party surrounded by family and friends.
Rihanna’s longtime friend Melissa Forde shared photos from the celebration, including a sweet shot of Rihanna holding and kissing Rocki. The mother-daughter pair coordinated in pink for the occasion.
Other photos showed a colorful setup with pastel balloons and a children’s carousel.
Rocki is Rihanna and Rocky’s third child and first daughter. The couple welcomed her on Sept. 13, 2025, but Rihanna waited until Sept. 24 to announce her arrival.
At the time, she posted the first photo of herself holding her newborn, along with a second image of tiny pink boxing gloves. She kept the caption simple: “Rocki Irish Mayers. Sept 13 2025.”
Long before Rocki arrived, Rocky made it clear that he and Rihanna were hoping baby No. 3 would be a girl.
“I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl,” he told ELLE while Rihanna was still pregnant. He also said the pregnancy felt different from the previous two and added, “I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”
Weeks after Rocki’s birth, the proud dad made it clear just how much she already meant to him.
“My daughter. That’s my favorite thing I created this year. Shout-out to Rocki Irish, man,” he told Complex.
By November, he was openly enjoying life as a girl dad.
“Thank you, Lord, that we had a very successful birth. I’m in heaven right now. Life is great,” Rocky told ELLE at the CFDA Fashion Awards.
Rocki also had a big first year in the spotlight. In April, she appeared alongside her mom on the cover of W Magazine, and earlier this month she joined her dad for a W China cover before she had even reached her first birthday.
For the accompanying feature, Rocky spoke about the love he has for his three children.
“I think we all long to love someone without expecting anything in return,” he said. “And I’m lucky enough to have three little ones whom I can love like that.”
In addition to Rocki, Rihanna and A$AP are parents to sons RZA, 4, and Riot, 3.
