Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, is calling on her son to step up for his children with Jaidyn Alexis.
During a recent livestream, Saffold claimed Blueface has not seen Javaughn and Journey for some time. According to the grandmother, his absence has become noticeable enough that his eldest son, Javaughn, has started asking questions.
“But the kids are starting to ask about you, and it’s time for you to step up and do your job,” Saffold told her son.
She then revealed that Javaughn recently wondered whether his father had returned to jail. Blueface previously spent 21 months behind bars before returning home in 2025.
“Javaughn asked me, ‘Was you back in jail?’ That’s not okay,” she said.
Saffold said she has been telling the children that both of their parents are busy working rather than involving them in the issues between their mother and father.
“I can’t tell your son what’s going on, so I have to naturally tell him that both of y’all are working, and they’re gonna be spending a lot of time with Grandma,” she said.
Saffold went on to urge Blueface to put his disagreements with Alexis aside, stressing that their children should not be affected by whatever is happening between their parents.
“You don’t need to make Jaidyn pay,” she said. “She’s not ever asked you for a dime since you’ve been home. She don’t have no intentions on asking you for a dime, and she should be.”
She also encouraged the rapper to find a way to financially contribute to his children’s needs, even if he and Alexis are not currently on good terms.
“Your kids are feeling like that, and they should not, because they haven’t done anything wrong,” Saffold said.

Blueface recently welcomed his fourth child, a baby boy named Johnathan Jr., with girlfriend Nevaeh Akira. Chrisean Rock also has a son, Chrisean Jr., whom Blueface has denied fathering.
While addressing her son’s growing family, Saffold said Javaughn and Journey have no problem embracing their siblings.
“I know that they would probably not even care that they had more brothers and sisters at all, because I’ve talked to them and they embrace whatever kids that you say is yours,” she said. “You got to treat everybody’s kids fairly.”
Later in the livestream, Saffold addressed the ongoing questions surrounding Chrisean Jr.’s paternity.
While discussing some of the physical characteristics people have pointed to when questioning whether Blueface is the toddler’s father, Saffold said she still sees her son when she looks at Junior.
“When I look in his eyes, he looks like my son,” she said.
Despite the speculation surrounding his paternity, Saffold said her position on the little boy remains unchanged unless she is shown proof otherwise.
“Until somebody shows me some paperwork that says that he’s not, in my heart and in my prayers, he will be.”
