Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends has been renewed for Season 7 on Disney Jr. and Disney+.
The preschool hit is now the longest-running Spider-Man series to date. Season 7 is scheduled for 2028, while Season 6 will arrive in 2027.
The renewal comes as Spidey and His Amazing Friends continues to draw a big audience. Nearly 1.3 billion hours of the series have been streamed globally on Disney+, making it Marvel’s most-watched television series on the platform.
Season 5, which premiered in the U.S. and select international markets in July, is also off to the strongest start for a new season since Season 1 based on hours viewed on Disney+.
But fans won’t have to wait for the next season for more Team Spidey.
Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up! premieres September 24 on Disney Jr. and will stream on Disney+ the following day. A first look at the special was unveiled at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where the Season 7 renewal was also announced.
The Halloween special will feature Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump as Jack O’Lantern and HAIM’s Este Haim as Hallows Eve.
Stump, who serves as songwriter and composer for Spidey and His Amazing Friends, also wrote two new songs for the special, including “Hallows’ Eve Theme.” Both tracks were released by Walt Disney Records on August 16.
Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends follows Peter Parker, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy as Team Spidey. The young superheroes work together to protect their community and team up with other Marvel heroes along the way.
Seasons 1 through 4 are currently streaming on Disney+, with Season 5 currently airing.
