Ludacris and Eudoxie Bridges celebrated their youngest daughter, Chance Oyali Bridges, turning 5 yesterday.
Eudoxie marked the occasion on Instagram Tuesday with photos of the birthday girl and a message about the joy Chance has brought to their family.
“5 years ago today, we were blessed with this little angel on earth! Oyali means ‘light, star’ and that is exactly how she brightens our days. Her smile alone lights up any room she is in. She is the smartest, sweetest, funniest… 5 year old we know and we are extremely proud to be her parents! Happy birthday to our Chance Oyali Bridges!!”
The post drew birthday wishes from family friends and fellow celebrities. Ashanti commented, “Happy birthday, beautiful baby girl!!!” Monica wrote, “MY BABYYYYY! Boss Baby that is! Happiest Birthday Beautiful you are a walking piece of Gods love and pure JOY!!! I love you Chance !!! @eudoxie have her FaceTime meeeee.”
LeToya Luckett added, “Happy birthday Chance poo!!!!!! I know you’re having the BEST Burfday!! Love you!” Eniko Hart also joined in, writing, “Happy 5th birthday cutie!”
The celebration comes just weeks after the Bridges family returned from a trip to Eudoxie’s home country of Gabon. During the visit, Eudoxie introduced her children to the village where she was born and many of the places that shaped her childhood.
“I took our children to the village where I was born. We traveled by train from Libreville, the capital of Gabon, to Franceville. The journey takes about 17–20 hours, but it’s filled with fun, laughter, and memories that last a lifetime.”
From there, the family drove another five hours to reach her village, where they spent time with relatives and visited the river, the home where she spent her summers, and many of the places that shaped her childhood.
“It was a humbling experience for all of us. Every time they come to Gabon, it’s as though they discover something new about my upbringing. As they grow older, I pray my country, my village will hold a special place in their hearts as it has for me. I pray they will continue to come and create memories of their own,” she added.
Chance, born on July 28, 2021, is the second daughter Ludacris and Eudoxie share together. The couple are also parents to 10-year-old Cadence, while Ludacris has two older daughters, Karma and Cai, from previous relationships.
