SAFAREE SAMUELS ENJOYS JAMAICA GETAWAY WITH HIS KIDS

Safaree Samuels is enjoying quality time with his children, Legend and Safire, in his native home of Jamaica.

The rapper has been sharing moments from the trip on Instagram, posting photos and videos of the family exploring the island.

“We here all month … tag all the great places for kids here in 🇯🇲🇯🇲 these kids getting a crash course of the culture!!” he wrote.

A few days later, Safaree shared more photos from the trip, but this time his post carried a more emotional message.

“When I realized I can’t send these to my momma I broke down .. still can’t believe it .. everyday different,” he wrote.

Back in March, Safaree announced his mother’s passing.

“My life is shattered… I can’t believe I can’t call you… my mommy,” he wrote at the time. “I don’t know how I’m going to move forward without you.”

Legend, 4, and Safire, 5, are Safaree’s two children with ex-wife Erica Mena. The former couple married in 2019 before divorcing in 2022.

Earlier this year, Mena revealed in an Instagram post that she had reached a resolution in her legal dispute with Safaree over child support. She said she had spent more than two years handling the day-to-day responsibilities of raising their son and daughter.

“For 2½ years and counting – I’ve endured malicious filings, unnecessary legal attacks and intentional financial pressure, all while being the only consistent present parent for my two youngest children. The only one handling medical care, education, childcare and the everyday costs of raising two growing children, as I have since the day they were born,” she wrote.

“Asking for half is not asking for too much,” Mena added. “It’s asking for what’s right. Children have two parents. Even when only one consistently shows up.”

Despite the public back-and-forth between the former couple over the years, Mena appeared happy to see Legend and Safire enjoying time with their dad. She commented on BCK’s Instagram post about the trip, writing, “Yeah mi baby! go live yuh best life. God bless yuh always.”
