KYLIE JENNER OPENS UP ABOUT EMOTIONAL MOMENT WITH DAUGHTER STORMI

Kylie Jenner didn’t expect a simple question from her daughter to hit her the way it did.

The beauty mogul revealed on Kid Cudi’s Big Bro podcast that she became emotional after her 8-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, asked why their family is famous.

Jenner said she explained it all started with Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the reality show that premiered when she was just a little older than Stormi is now.

“I sat her down, and I’m like, ‘We started a television show when I was a year older than you, and that’s why we’re all in this together,’ ” Jenner said. “She was like, ‘Can I watch it?’ And I’m like, ‘Sure.’”

They ended up watching parts of the first episode together, with Jenner skipping over moments she didn’t feel were appropriate.

“I was so emotional after. I don’t know what hit me, but I was weeping in my bed. I don’t know why that happened to me,” she said.

Looking back, Jenner said her mix of emotions may have been caused by seeing her younger self on screen and realizing her daughter is now the same age she was when everything started.

“I was just like maybe it’s like my daughter being the same age as I was [or] just seeing my family and I’m just feeling so grateful for all that we’ve built, but also mourning that closeness when we were all kind of living under the same roof. It was very emotional. I didn’t know it was going to hit me like that,” she said

Jenner shares Stormi and her four-year-old son Aire with Travis Scott.

“I have my family; I have my kids that I go home to that love me so much and have no idea what’s going on in this world,” she said. “They definitely keep me grounded.”

She also spoke about raising her kids in the public eye and what that could mean as they get older.

“When Stormi turns 15, I don’t know how I’m going to handle it,” Jenner said. “We don’t know how [fame] is going to affect them, and it’s really scary.”
