Rapper and reality star Destiny Henderson, known professionally as Sukihana, is pregnant and preparing to welcome her fourth child.
The former Love & Hip Hop: Miami personality revealed the news exclusively to People, sharing that she is currently in her second trimester.
“This isn’t just about becoming a mother again,” she said. “It’s about growth. It’s about becoming the woman I’m meant to be.”
The rapper said she chose to keep the news of her pregnancy private early on so she could focus on her health and the baby’s development.
“This baby came into my life at a time when I truly needed a reminder of purpose and love,” she said. “I’ve lived a lot of my life loudly, but this moment is something I wanted to protect until I was ready to share it with the world.”
She added that waiting to share the news publicly gave her peace of mind.
“I wanted to protect myself and my baby, and I wanted to make sure my baby was fully developed and healthy before I let anybody know about what was so sacred to me.”
In the meantime, the entertainer has been enjoying this season of her life and allowing herself the freedom to eat what she wants.
“Before I got pregnant, I [was] very disciplined, and I wouldn’t even eat anything besides within my meal prep. So now I eat a lot of different foods, and I’m not so hard on myself,” she says, noting that her pregnancy has given her a love for different desserts. “I understand that I’m feeding another human. So I’m actually enjoying not having a diet. I’m so happy with that.”

“I can eat now,” she jokingly added.
Although she has not yet learned the baby’s sex, Sukihana said she plans to find out soon. For now, she says the most important thing is having a healthy child.
“I’m really excited to meet this baby, and I’m already feeling like kicks and everything, so I’m very happy right now,” she says of her baby on the way. “And I’m happy to go into a different part of my life.”
She continued, “I feel like it is also a rebirth for me,” she said. “I’m so happy that I’m healthy and I’m birthing a healthy baby.”
