Emily B and Fabolous are celebrating a major milestone as their son, Johan Jackson, turns 18.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Emily marked the occasion with a sweet tribute alongside a portrait of her son.
“Eighteen years. That doesn’t even sound real..lol @iamprincejoso,” she wrote.
As Johan steps into adulthood, Emily shared words of encouragement for the next chapter of his life.
“As you become your own man..I pray you move with integrity, wisdom and strength. Protect your peace. Stand firm in who you are .. Protect your name. Stand tall and never doubt that you are deeply loved ..”
She continued, “No matter how grown you get, I will always be your Mami..Always praying for you. Always rooting for you. Forever loving you. Happy 18th Birthday Johan!”
Fabolous also celebrated his son’s birthday, sharing photos from NBA All-Star Weekend, where the father and son attended the game together. The images showed the two posing outside the arena, continuing what Fabolous called a birthday tradition.
“We made ballin for ya Birthday a tradition.. And you’ll always gonna be my favorite ALL STAR !! Happy 18th Birthday to my son @iamprincejoso.”
He added, “It’s time to go young man!! And ill be here every step of the way.”
The former couple’s posts quickly drew reactions from friends and fans.
“Wow!!!! 18, I remember the first time we saw him as a baby. Happy Birthday Johan,” one person wrote.
“he same kid on the young og project. we getting old af,” another commented.
“Definitely in shock. Happy Birthday young man . Our babies are literally the new adults. I can’t take it,” added a third.
Emily B and rapper Fabolous share three children together: sons Johan and Jonas, and daughter Journey Isabella, who was born in October 2020. Emily is also mom to daughter Taina Williams from a previous relationship.
