KANYE WEST BRINGS DAUGHTER NORTH WEST ONSTAGE DURING MEXICO CITY CONCERT

North West hit the stage with her father, Kanye West, during his recent performance in Mexico City on January 30.

The father-daughter duo performed several songs together during the show, including a moving rendition of Ye’s song “Only One.” As he sang the track, Kanye turned toward his eldest daughter, sharing a sweet moment onstage.

North also joined her father for “Talking / Once Again,” her collaboration with Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign from Vultures 1, released in 2024, as well as “The Bomb.”

The 12-year-old later performed her newer track, “Piercing on My Hand,” which she previewed earlier this month on social media.

The song references her new dermal piercings, her interest in tattoos, and her relationship with school.

“Piercing on my hand, the other holding bands / No friends, just filter, you wouldn’t understand,” North rapped in the song. “Went to school for two days, then I got banned / Skipping school, yeah, I do it on the daily / Got some new rings, yeah, they’re so crazy.”

The live appearance comes days after North’s mother, Kim Kardashian, spoke publicly about her daughter’s creative interests and how they’ve influenced her co-parenting relationship with Kanye.

During a January 21 appearance on her sister Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, Kim revealed that North is currently homeschooled and enrolled in courses centered on her interests, including brand development and music.

“The music side and the producing isn’t my thing, and that’s her bonding with her dad,” Kim said on the podcast. “But we have to communicate about how North moves through this world.”

Kim added that respecting Kanye’s “opinion on the things that go on with his kids is really important”.

The former couple share four children together: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
