A$AP ROCKY OPENS UP ABOUT BEING A GIRL DAD: ‘I’M FALLING IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN’

A$AP Rocky says he’s loving life as a girl dad to his four-month-old baby, Rocki, whom he shares with Rihanna.

During a recent appearance on The Ebro Show, the rapper opened up about how having a daughter has shifted his perspective.

“Being a girl dad, bro, it’s made me so vulnerable. I literally, I love life, yo. And it’s back to what you said earlier and what you was hinting at. It’s just like we don’t have a reason to be feuding and be unhappy, man. Life is good, bro,” he said.

The musician, who is also father to sons RZA and Riot, explained that raising a daughter has brought a different emotional layer to fatherhood.

“Being a dad, a protector, provider for a girl is way different than boys. Granted, she’s only four months, but just when she look at me, E bro, I melt inside. I’m already in love with her mother, so I’m falling in love all over again.”

Rocky also shared that he now has a deeper appreciation for women.

“The respect I have for women is just growing. I’m not trying to sound like a saint, but I just got so much respect and props for mothers, for what they go through, what they put their emotions through, what their body goes through, the changes. And then to have a daughter, to have that same species, it’s mindboggling.”

“I can only break it down into increments of being happy and joyful. It’s a blessing. I got nothing but love for the world. I’m so happy right now,” he added.

Rocky also said his daughter resembles him, calling her “my twin” and “the girl version of me.”

He later touched on his relationship with Rihanna, explaining that their connection deepened naturally over time.

“We reflect on it all the time,” he said. “We had to spin the block. We reconnected at a really convenient time in our lives where we were open and ready for each other.”

The couple, who have been together since 2020, welcomed their third child, daughter Rocki, on Sept. 13. They are also parents to sons RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, born in 2023.
