Cardi B is setting the record straight after a photo of her holding a baby has circulated online and sparked confusion among fans.
The image, which surfaced on X and spread quickly, led some users to assume it showed the rapper’s fourth child.

Cardi addressed the rumors directly on the platform on January 25, writing, “Yall this is Wavey 😂……I’ll show yall touchdown soon….”
The baby in the photo is her son Wave, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Offset. The former couple are also parents to daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 1.
Cardi welcomed her fourth child with NFL star Stefon Diggs on November 4, 2025. While she has not shared photos of his face or revealed his name, she did announce his birth publicly.
In her announcement, Cardi reflected on starting over with a new baby and relationship.
“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve,” she wrote.
Cardi and Diggs were first linked in early 2024 and later confirmed their relationship during the 2025 NBA Playoffs. They have since made only a handful of public appearances together.
On the music front, Cardi recently released her second studio album, Am I The Drama, and is preparing for her upcoming Little Miss Drama Tour, which is scheduled to begin in February.
