Viewers who watched through the end credits of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 got an unexpected bonus.
During the finale’s closing credits, Disney+ revealed a brief teaser for Season 3, confirming that the series will return later this year. The short preview offered a first look at what lies ahead for Percy Jackson and his friends, signaling that the story is continuing beyond the Season 2 cliffhanger.
Season 2 brought back Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, alongside Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, and Daniel Diemer. The season also featured a wide slate of guest stars, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Glynn Turman, Courtney B. Vance, Andra Day, Adam Copeland, Margaret Cho, Kristen Schaal, and Rosemarie DeWitt.

IFor those unfamiliar with the series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the fantasy book series by Rick Riordan. The show was developed for television by Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg and follows demigod Percy Jackson as he embarks on a cross-country quest to stop a brewing war among the Olympian gods.
Steinberg and Dan Shotz serve as executive producers alongside Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, and longtime collaborators involved in the adaptation.
Production on Season 3 is already underway in Vancouver. The upcoming season will adapt The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Riordan’s bestselling series, which introduces new challenges and expands the world of Camp Half-Blood.
With Season 2 now complete and streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, viewers can catch up ahead of the show’s return.
