8-YEAR-OLD AURA V COULD MAKE GRAMMY HISTORY WITH DAD-DAUGHTER ALBUM, HARMONY

Eight-year-old Aura V is heading into the 2026 Grammy Awards with the possibility of making music history for her nominated project, “Harmony“.

Aura V and her father, artist and educator Fyütch, are nominated in the Best Children’s Album category for their collaborative project. If they win, Aura V would become the youngest Grammy winner ever, beating out Blue Ivy who earned her first Grammy at age nine.

The nomination follows a huge year for the father-daughter collaborators. Aura V has been performing alongside her father at major venues across the country, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, and a summer appearance at the famed Lollapalooza.

According to the family, “Harmony” started with Aura V’s request to make music like her dad. Fyütch was already known in the family-music space, so the pair began writing together at home.

What began as a small project between father-daughter, grew into a full album of music. “Harmony” encompasses themes such as: confidence, kindness, and community. The title track of the project was released in fall 2024 and later landed on Spotify’s list of Best Kids Songs of the Year.

On “Harmony,” Aura V takes the lead on songs that introduce her personality, while Fyütch anchors the storytelling. Some tracks lean into fun family moments, others highlight self-love or friendship, and a few touch on practical topics like gratitude and financial basics.

The project also features guest appearances from several children’s-music favorites and collaborators from the broader hip-hop community.
