Timbaland’s daughter, Reign Mosley, just celebrated her 18th birthday.
On November 15, the producer marked the occasion by sharing a sweet birthday message alongside a series of photos of his only daughter throughout the years.
“I wanna wish my beautiful babygir Reignl happy happy 18th bday. I’m so proud of the young lady you are becoming Remember always keep God 1st as you walk into your destiny babegirl Daddy very much !!!!! You 18 whewwww!!!!!!!!!!!” he wrote in his caption.
In a follow-up post, he shared black-and-white portraits of Reign and captioned, “My babygirl a lil lady now !!!!! Happy 18th @reigncheck__.”
Reign is one of Timbaland’s three children. He shares her and her brother Demetrius with his ex-wife Monique Mosley and is also dad to his son Frankie from an earlier relationship.
Back in August, the two sat down on Reign’s podcast Reign Check, where she asked her dad whether success changed him as a father.
“It didn’t really shift my perspective on fatherhood. It probably made me have a more respect for fatherhood. You know what I’m saying? It it kind of gave my success a purpose in a way.”
He went on to explain how fatherhood grounded him at a time when fame could have pulled him in a different direction.
“You know, fatherhood was needed in my life. Because success could have destroyed me because you get caught up in so many things. But being that I was raised a certain way and I always, you know, God will place things that that he that you don’t know that you need in your life and fatherhood was the thing that I needed to balance success. Because if I didn’t, I could have been destroyed,” he said.
Their conversation also revealed the closeness they’ve built over time, including the quiet ways they understand each other.
“I don’t have to talk to you all the time. I can just look at you and just feel your energy… you’re connected to me. I can feel when you’re down. I don’t have to ask you. I can just feel it. Um, it it’s a blessing. I mean, you’re connected to me. I can feel when you’re down. I don’t have to ask you. I can just feel it.”
