Stefon Diggs has been confirmed as the father of Aileen Lopera’s daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera.
The NFL star, who is currently dating Cardi B, received the results following a court-ordered paternity test that settled the long-running dispute between the two.
“The paternity has been confirmed. Mr. Diggs is the father of the child,” Lopera’s attorney, Tamar Arminak, told Page Six.
“Now that the child’s paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work toward being great parents to their child.”
While the paternity matter has been resolved, Arminak said the case has not yet been dismissed and will “move forward if the parties are not able to resolve [their issue] themselves.”
Lopera, a Fashion Nova ambassador, filed a paternity suit against the New England Patriots wide receiver in December 2024. In her filing, she sought legal and physical custody of the baby, requesting Diggs receive visitation rights only. She also asked that he cover her pregnancy and birth-related costs along with her attorney’s fees.
Three months later, Diggs requested a genetic test, stating he was “not certain” of the paternity. He also asked for joint legal and physical custody if the test confirmed he was the father, in addition to splitting all expenses and legal fees.
Now, Diggs is preparing to welcome another child—his first with Cardi B.
The rapper revealed the news during a September appearance on CBS Mornings, telling Gayle King, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Cardi, 33, already shares Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1, with her estranged husband, Offset.
Diggs is also father to Nova, 9, from a previous relationship with ex Tyler-Marie.
