HALLE BAILEY AND DDG DROP RESTRAINING ORDERS AND REACH TEMPORARY CUSTODY AGREEMENT FOR SON HALO

Nearly five months after filing restraining orders against one another, The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey, 25, and rapper DDG, 28, have dismissed their cases, according to new court documents obtained by TMZ.

The filing notes that “the parties each reserve her/his rights to resurrect any and all DV allegations,” clarifying that the dismissal “may not be used as evidence against the party(s) seeking new orders.” Both retain the option to refile in the future if needed.

Bailey and DDG have also agreed not to publicly speak negatively about each other. The documents outline a temporary custody arrangement for their son, Halo, allowing DDG visitation on Wednesdays and select weekends, as well as a shared holiday schedule.

This follows an August court order that restricted both parents from posting or sharing images or personal information about Halo online. That same filing granted DDG limited, “peaceful contact” with Bailey to coordinate visitation.

Amid the legal developments, DDG appeared to reference their ongoing situation on his latest album, moo, released Oct. 10 through Epic Records.

The 14-track project includes collaborations with BIA, Gunna, and PlaqueBoxMax. On the opening track, “17 More Years,” he reflects on their co-parenting journey, rapping:

“I don’t wanna fight no more, tired of the court dates. Lawyers gettin’ over on us, watchin’ money go to waste/We should all get together on his birthday, light the cake.”

“If we talk, it’ll get better, go ahead and drop the case,” he continues. “Used to text your phone, now we speakin’ through the mail/You don’t even know I got love for you still/Said you want me gone, is that really how you feel?/Might as well get along, we got seventeen more years.”

The new court filings suggest that while their relationship remains complicated, Bailey and DDG are focusing on creating stability for their son.
